My name is Melissa. I’m an adventurer with a flair for fashion. I believe that everybody is unique and individual, and I wanted to be able to share that with others in order to help them to create their own sense of style and to feel confident. I got into blogging in order to express my passions and to help people. I’m also majorly about being stylish on a budget, so I try and help people with tips and coupons.

How are you currently monetizing this blog traffic?
I currently use Amazon affiliates, Shopstyle Collective, and Shareaholic.
If you were to be given an option to switch blogs with someone, who’s would that be and why?
I LOVE Le Happy. She’s one of my inspirations to start blogging. So I’d switch blogs with her, but only for a day because I love my blog and I love looking at hers. 🙂
Many bloggers are struggling with SEO. Any tip for them?
Educate yourself firstly. I struggled as well, but I read a lot about it. I also downloaded the Yoast WordPress plugin, which directs you on each page and blog post about how you can improve your post and improve the SEO.
What’s your favorite blogging tool?
I really like the Yoast plugin that I mentioned above. It’s greatly helped me in improving my posts. Also social media in general can be used as a tool to express yourself in a variety of places.
A word of advice to those starting out.
Buy your domain name starting out. I waited a few weeks and then I had to switch everything over and change links. It was a pain. Also to just be excited about what you’re blogging about. If you’re not excited, then you’re not going to be successful.
