In as much as this is true in some rare cases, it is, however, important to do some basic Search Engine Optimization best practices.

Use this tool by Google to submit your Url.

Enter the keywords “Submit Url to Google” in Google search. Click on the first results on the SERPS.

You will see a page that looks like the one above. In the “URL:” section, enter your URL, check the “I’m not a robot” box and click on the “submit request” button. That’s it!

Submit a sitemap to google search console.

What is google search console? Google Search Console is a free service that lets you learn a great deal of information about your website and the people who visit it.
You can use it to find out things like how many people are visiting your site and how they are finding it, whether more people are visiting your site on a mobile device or desktop computer, and which pages on your site are the most popular.
Before you can submit a sitemap to search console, you need to first of all add and verify your site. I’m not going into the details of adding and verifying your site in this post.
Sachs Marketing Group did a good job in writing “A Beginner’s Guide to Mastering Google Search Console“. You can learn how to add and verify your site from the guide.
You’ve added and verified your site. Now it’s time to submit your sitemap.
On the search console help page for sitemaps, Google defines sitemaps as;
A sitemap is a file where you can list the web pages of your site to tell Google and other search engines about the organization of your site content. Search engine web crawlers like Google bot read this file to more intelligently crawl your site.

Use the fetch as google tool in search console

What does fetch as Google mean in Webmaster Tools? The Fetch as Google tool enables you to test how Google crawls or renders a URL on your site. This is one such tool that is underutilized by website owners and bloggers. This tool gives users the opportunity to submit their URL to the index directly.
This is a very good way to speed things up considerably if you have new content that you’d like to be discovered and found on the search engine results page without having to wait for weeks or even months.

Submitting your link to the index using the Fetch as Google tool is like pressing a magic button. Google states that they will crawl the URL using this method usually within a day, however, I’ve seen web pages and blog posts show up in the SERPs in less than 5 minutes of using this tool.

Run the Fetch

  • Log in to search console
  • Click the name of the domain you want to run the fetch on
  • Click “Crawl” on the dashboard
  • Click “Fetch as Google” on the drop-down list.
  • Enter the link to the page you want to fetch. The domain name has already been provided, so make sure to enter only the path after the forward slash. Please refer to the image above. For example, if you want to fetch http://blogtoolscorner.com/index-your-website-fast.html, you only need to paste index-your-website-fast.html into the URL field. To fetch the Home page, make sure to leave URL field blank.
  • Choose the type of bot to perform the search as; Desktop or Mobile: Smartphone
  • Click Fetch or Fetch and Render
  • After the fetch, make sure to click “Request Indexing as shown below.

A popup with a captcha appears and asks you to choose from one of the two options; ” Crawl only this URL or Crawl this URL and it’s direct links” Once you have made your choice, click on “Go” and That’s It!

Wondering what the difference between “Fetch” and “Fetch and Render” is? I’ve got you covered.

Make use of Google Alerts for Blog Comment

Blog commenting is a very good strategy for link building and traffic. Having good quality backlinks is one of Google’s ranking factors. That said, it is important to identify blogs with high DA PA to comment on.

In the lines that follow, I’m going to show you how to use Google alerts to identify blogs with high DA PA.

ll, you have to do is search for the keyword “Google Alerts” in the google search.
You’ll see a page similar to the one below. Now, create an alert.

Google Alerts Home Page

To create an alert, enter the keywords you’ll like to be alerted about. In the example above, I created an alert with the keyword “blogging tools”. You can create as many alerts as you like.

Now Google will send you notifications through email when someone publishes content related to your alerts. When you receive an alert, click on the link in the email and head over to the website. Leave a valuable comment on that website with a link to your blog.

Submit your website to popular website stats programs

There are so many popular stats programs you can use to submit your websites, Such as who.is,web-stat.com and other such tools.

Submit your site to blog directories

Submitting your site to blog directories is an effective way to get your website indexed fast.
A blog directory is some kind of web directory that focuses on listing blogs. After Google rolled out the Penguin update, many blog directories were affected.
However, there are still some top blog directories to submit your blogs, such as Blog CatalogBlogapediaSpillbeans and many such sites.

Make use of Google My business

Google My Business is a free and easy to use tool for businesses and organizations to manage their online presence on Google, including search and Maps. By verifying and editing your business information, you can both help customers and search engines find you.
Click ” Start Now” to get started.
Google My Business
A page will open like the one below. Fill out your company info. Make sure it’s correct and accurate. And that’s it! leave the indexing part to Google.

Share your website links on Social media and aggregates

As I mentioned earlier, link building is one of the main ranking factors of Google. Links from social media and content aggregator sites are high-quality links. Sharing your sites on platforms like Reddit, Digg, Stumble Upon, Pinterest,  and others is a very good way to build quality backlinks and notify search engines of your website’s presence.

Use Ping Services

Pinging your website is the online equivalent of waving a flag and yelling, “Hey! Over here – check this out!” to search engines and directories whenever you add content or make changes to your website.
Using a Ping tool can speed up indexing because it essentially sends search portals and other services a message from your website telling them that there is new content and comes to crawl it.
There are lots of ping services, including a built-in service within WordPress itself. One such pinging tool is pingomatic.

Write Testimonials

There are a lot of businesses that would be very happy to get testimonials from you in exchange for a backlink. However, Don’t just go writing testimonials for every site. Make sure to choose sites that have a high domain authority and page authority.

Final thoughts

Whew!!! That was a long read. I’m glad you made it to the end. There are so many methods that can help you to submit your website to Google and other search engines such as Yahoo as fast as possible but among all these methods I prefer submitting my website to Google using a sitemap.
I hope you enjoyed this article. If you did, I would like to hear your thoughts. What is your favorite way to submit your site to google?
